We are a one-team women’s hockey club based in South West London.

Whatever your level — whether you've played hockey before and want to dust off your stick, or you are currently playing and looking for a new challenge OR you think you could have a go — we want you at Mitcham Ladies Hockey Club.

We pride ourselves on our friendliness and what we call Mitcham spirit. We attract a broad range of players spanning all ages and abilities! We love hockey, but we also love to socialise.

A year at Mitcham Ladies HC

• Mid to late September: The week before the start of the season, we play a friendly game and celebrate with our annual cake party. During the season, we train on Wednesday evenings and play matches on Saturdays.

• Early December: Last match of the first half of the season, followed by the annual Christmas Party at the Rose & Crown.

• January: Start of the second half of the season.

• Late March or early April: End of the hockey season. On Saturdays we do Parkrun instead.

• May to July: Summer league. Fortnightly, we play slightly shorter games on a weekday evening.

• August: AGM at the Rose & Crown.

  Throughout the year, we also have socials of a wide variety. Some past examples include, a puzzle tournament, board games night, Halloween silent disco, fireworks, Bongo’s Bingo, a pub quiz, a sport days picnic on Wimbledon Common, and tennis.
