Umpires wanted!
Are you passionate about sport and looking for an exciting way to get involved? Mitcham is currently seeking umpires to officiate our home games. Whether you have experience or are just getting started, we welcome individuals who are eager to be part of our sports community and ensure that games are played fairly and smoothly.
The hockey league starts in mid September and runs until early April, during which we play twice a month on Saturdays at Blagdons Sports Grounds (New Malden, KT3 4UP). We also need umpires for summer hockey at OC Hockey club (Thames Ditton), which occurs bi-weekly on Thursday evenings May - July.

Pay: We offer compensation for each game you umpire.
Training: We play in division 6, which doesn’t require any certificates in umpiring. However, if you’re passionate about improving your knowledge and skills, we’d love to sponsor your online umpire course.
Flexible Schedule: Umpire according to your availability – we can work around your commitments.
Fun and Social Environment: Our games are about fun, fitness, and friendly competition. We’re confident that you’ll find us the best team to ever umpire. Also, we’d love for you to join our post-match teas at the Rose & Crown, as well as all our socials!
